As a Senior Accountant at Prisjakt, you will take full ownership of accounting and reporting for your entities. From daily transactions to statutory reporting. This isn’t about ticking boxes; it’s about ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and clarity across the board.

At the same time, we’re in the middle of an exciting (and sometimes slightly messy) transformation journey. Things will change - processes, systems, responsibilities and you’ll be right in the middle of it. So if you enjoy when finance evolves rather than stands still, you’ll feel at home.

You will operate as both a financial controller and a business partner, combining technical accounting expertise with a genuine curiosity for what drives the numbers.

Here’s where you’ll spend most of your time

• You will own the full accounting cycle, including AP/AR, general ledger, VAT reporting, and statutory filings

• You will independently manage monthly and annual closes, applying sound judgment in accruals, provisions, and cut-off assessments

• You will take responsibility for balance sheet integrity through detailed reconciliations and proactive issue resolution

• You will oversee cash flow planning, receivables, and liquidity, including bad debt evaluations and provisions

• You will ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls — and act as the main point of contact for audits

Beyond the core responsibilities, you will also play a key role in improving how we work. You will refine processes, strengthen controls, and explore automation and AI to increase efficiency and reduce manual handling. And because we’re evolving as a company, you will need to be comfortable stepping into new areas, picking up responsibilities, and shaping what “good” looks like going forward.

You’re comfortable working independently and taking full ownership of your entities, deadlines, and deliverables. You don’t wait for perfect instructions - you move things forward, ask all the questions, and adjust when needed. At the same time, you can translate financial outcomes into clear insights for stakeholders outside finance, and you don’t hesitate to challenge inconsistencies when something doesn’t add up.
