We're on a mission to create the best search solution ever, and need a Senior Data Processing Engineer to lead the search backend development. If you're up for the challenge, keep reading! 

As part of our awesome team, you'll be at the forefront of developing our search ingestion, which is mainly a powerful backend solution that handles a steady stream of product updates. We're looking for someone with a knack for working with data-intensive services, or data engineering, and knows how to run the services in the cloud with a Kubernetes setup.

To truly thrive in this role, we think you have:

• Experience developing data-intensive solutions

• Confidence with at least one cloud platform: GCP, AWS, Azure (we run in GCP)

• Practical knowledge of Kafka or other messaging systems

• Navigating Kubernetes like a pro

• Mastery of at least one programming language: Java, Scala, or Typescript (we do Java)

We’d be oh-so happy if you also have:

• E-commerce search experience

• Familiarity with Flink or other stream and batch processing systems

• Expertise in Elastic search, Solr, or Lucene

• Gitlab CI/CD know-how
